RAMALLAH -- Palestine on Thursday rejected an anti-coronavirus aid shipment from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that arrived in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv earlier this week.

CAIRO -- Egypt witnessed on Thursday a record 774 single-day new COVID-19 cases, raising the total infections confirmed in the country since mid-February to 15,003, according to the health ministry.

ISTANBUL -- Turkey's tourism sector said Thursday it is looking forward to attracting Chinese tourists back to the country once the COVID-19 pandemic is fully contained.
