Earlier on Friday, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Israel Katz met with representatives of self-employed and business owners in Jerusalem, discussing allegations of insufficient government support during the coronavirus period.
At the meeting, Netanyahu directed the immediate establishment of a forum of roundtables with representatives of the self-employed and business owners in order to resolve the issues that were raised, according to a statement released by the prime minister's office.
Netanyahu determined that the forum would convene again next week in order to update on the progress in resolving the issues.
